Welcome to the ~battlefrontier!
This is a club dedicated to a very special part of the Pokémon universe, called "Battle Frontier". First seen in the GBA game "Pocket Monsters Emerald", the Battle Frontier has soon become one of the most interesting concepts ever created in the Pokémon world.
It has an appereance in the game, later in the animated series, and last but not least, in two comic adaptations (manga) of Pokémon Emerald.
HOW TO JOIN
This club in particular is dedicated to various people:
- those who enjoy the game concept of the Battle Frontier
- those who enjoy the anime concept of the Battle Frontier
- those who enjoy the manga concept of the Battle Frontier
- those who like the "Frontier Brains" characters
- those who like the character of Enishida (Scott in the US version)
If you think you apply for at least one of these things, and would like to become a member, just note the club, or the founder, and I'll be sure to add you to the members list^^. Also, remember to
add the club to your friends list; in this way you'll always know when an update is made!
You should then add the club's icon/link to your journal, as it's required with any club... but I think that's superfluos to say, at this point
Updates!
Added a couple new members :3
And we have our first activity going on! Scroll down to read more...
CLUB ACTIVITY: we need an ID
Usually, most clubs hold contests in which the members have to submit a picture for an ID... well, we'll make a similar thing but different. It's not fair to have, in a community, and ID made by a single person! I want to make a collage of different things submitted by the members. So, it's a contest where everyone wins^^
Rules:
- the submission must be about the Battle Frontier
- if submitting a picture, make sure it's YOUR art! It can't be any official picture or sprite drawn by Nintendo, and it can't be traced!
- also, make sure the picture has no background! I need pictures with a white background to make the final composition!
- re-interpretation of the Battle Frontier logo (the one in our avatar/icon) are welcome!
- you can submit SHORT poetry/written works to be included in the final ID!
- you can either upload your work in DeviantArt, or any other site;
- you can submit as many works as you want, but in case I receive too many, I may choose only one artwork per person;
- the final composed image will be made by me (unless someone else volunteers to help me with that).
The "contest" will be kept open until we finally have enough material to do the ID.

Datsura is just based on the datura by the way - TSU and TU are the same sound in Japanese.
And yeah, Lila is most probably from "lilac". Lilac is called "lillŕ" in Italian though, that would exactly be written as "Rira" in Japanese.
There once was a Japanese page listing all their name meanings a while ago (including all of the plants' scientific names!), but the site's closed now :/
Or maybe I'm the only who doesn't know while everyone else is keeping it secret from me! D:
Datura? Hmm...
